How can I book?
Making a reservation is very easy! Just visit our website and fill out our contact form. Be sure to check our availability calendar to see if dates are available. We will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a booking.
Why the name Werven 50?
This is an old name of Warwerort and 50 is the house number.
Where and when can I get the keys?
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by us personally and we will give you a tour of the entire house. We will hand over two house keys to you. In exceptional cases you will find the key in the key safe at the entrance, you will then receive the code from us.
Why do you restrict booking with dogs?
We have always had dogs ourselves. For 16 years we had our Jack Russell, James, after whom the football golf course is also named. Now since October 2022 our King Poodle Bruno.
As hosts, we want to ensure that all guests feel comfortable in our house. Guests with dogs, but especially guests without dogs. We are more accepting if, for example, your dog is an allergy dog and does not shed, and if your dog gets along with other dogs and does not bark as much. For large dog breeds, the house is not big enough.
Therefore, we ask for your understanding that we reserve the right not to accept a booking request with your dog if necessary.

How is the lawn on the beach and around the house actually maintained?
On the dikes, the sheep make sure that the grass is kept short.
On the beach section, unfortunately, this does not work because of the natural legacies. Therefore, the municipality of Warwerort usually mows the lawn of the bathing area every second Saturday.
Our property is also mowed twice a month, plus two gardeners usually come on Wednesdays and do everything in about 20 minutes.

The Büsum airfield is located nearby. Isn't that noisy?
Büsum airfield, which can be reached via Oesterdeichstrich, offers a limited number of (round) flights on weekends. Since all neighbouring communities live from tourism, the airfield takes into consideration flight routes and flight altitudes over populated areas.
Once a year there is an open day with a variety of flight offers, on the respective weekend the airfield is noticeable and noisy. We indicate this weekend on our website so that you can decide whether you want to experience the airfield festival or book at another time.
From the airfield, you can book sightseeing flights over Dithmarschen or also to Helgoland.
